Me: Meow!
Mummy: zzzz...what? what?
Me: It's hot.
Mummy: What's the matter?
Me: I can't get to sweep, the weather's too hot!
Mummy: What's wrong?
Me: I'm bored. And I can't sweep. Get up and talk to me.
Mummy: You ok? What's the matter?
Me: Get up now and give me mine fishy goodness! I can't sweep and now I feel hungwy!
Mummy: It's 3am. What's wrong?
Me: (jumps off bed and started singing at the door)
Mummy: What do you want??
Me: (sings) Get up get up you wazy Mummy! Come give me mine fishy goodness! Or some Temptations might be nice too. And I saw BBQ pork on the dining table. A piece of that is gweat too. Get up get up get up!!!
Mummy: Why? What is the matter?
Me: (jumps onto bed again) Pway with me! I'm bored!
Mummy: Anything wrong?
Me: YES! I'm bored and hungwy! And the heat's kiwwing me! Get up before the heat kills you too! MUMMY GET UP!!!!
Mummy: Ugggghhh....What's wrong?
Me: Get up, Mummy, you see the moon? Sing with me! Where's mine stwing? I want to kill it! Oh, maybe I should pway percussion with mine nice box. Any fishy goodness for me Mummy?
Mummy: SHUT UP!
Me: (jumps off bed while singing lustily at the same time) Get up get up....it's too hot to sweep. Get up and sing with me!
Mummy: Will you please SHUT UP?
Me: (jumps onto bed and curl up next to Mummy again) sigh...I'm bored.
That's intewwigent conversation for you.
Sigh....sometimes we've got to be weawwy patient with our beans. Sigh....

Boy, it was not very nice of your mom to keep sleeping when you were ready to play. And you TOLD her many times what you wanted.
You should have teleported over, or maybe I should have teleported over to you. At 3 am I was bouncing around the room trying to wake up Mommy and the woofie. Neither one wanted to play! Tiki was sleeping downstairs and she wouldn't play either! Hmmph! 3 am is the PERFECT time to play!!!

I just don't get beans, I think they are just inferior in their understanding. Makes perfect sense to me that she should have gotten up and hung out with you. Keep trying for the next few nights.

Sounds like our house except it happens at 4am here. We think persistence is the answer. It usually works for us.
Ha ha ha ha. Yoo sound like owr Mommy instead. She keeps saying it's werry werry hot too and den she wakes us up instead! Yur right. Yoo has to be werry patient wif yur beans.

why didn't your mommy feed you and play with you?? i agree, you have to be patient sometimes. if you do it enough nights in a row, she'll get up. mine always does.
my mommy bought a fan that she puts on her side of the bed and it blows on me (she keeps it on low) cause it is really hot here too and i don't feel well. maybe your mommy could get you your own little fan to blow on you?
I usually find going right up to their face and sneezing often works. FAZ

It is cold here Boy and I am snuggled up in my artificial fur wolfskin. Sad to think of you trying to have a bit of intelligent conversation. Humans can be quite unresponsive, I find.
