While I haven't experienced this sort of thing directly (all 4 of my kitties were here when I arrived), I've asked my older cats about this for you.
Two of them said it's FANTASTIC, you're going to have a playmate, and two of them said run for the hills. So it's a draw, but still a verrrrry good chance that you're going to have a great little buddy to play and snuggle with...
