I stopped by to see how the THING is going. Well... I guess he's not going anywhere. Sorry man but it'll get better. I have to admit though, Dang, he's cute. Makes my heart sing a bit.

Boy, even though I am a dawg, I know how you feel. Once upon a time, two of those *things* showed up at my house and hung around, hogging my mom. I wasn't that thrilled either. But eventually I got used to them. And now they're ok - for the most part.

I agree with the others that it looks like Beethoven is there to stay. He is a cute little thing. I think you will get used to him in time. At least he won't be hogging your blog. I like the story of him napping in the closet and your Mom not being able to find him, though it must have been distressing for her.
